Mrs. Preston was born on March 8, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Virginia (Finley) Palmer. She moved to Arizona in 1960 where she finished high school and also met the love of her life Merle G. Preston. They were happily married on July 15th, 1967 and were married for 47 years. She had two children. A son Merle D. Preston and a daughter Conda L. (Preston) Langford. She loved watching musicals, collecting blown glass figurines. She had a talent of baking and decorating cakes for weddings and other special occasions. She loved going for long distance drives. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and loved putting up decorations and also had a wide collecting of Christmas Santa Clauses. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Merle G. Preston, two kids Merle D. Preston and Conda L. (Preston) Langford, three grandchildren, Ty A. Langford, Kaela M. Langford and Merle M. Preston, and one great grandchild, Remington G. Dodge.
