Mary Felicitas “Licha” Perez passed away peacefully on January 27, 2016. She was 20 days away from celebrating her 100th birthday. Licha was born on February 16, 1916 in Sonora, Mexico to the late Martin and Loretta Palma. She was preceded in death, in 2000, by her husband Severo with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. They raised their family in Morenci, AZ and retired to Phoenix in 1976. Licha was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Licha is survived by her five sons Leonard “Junior”, Henry (Rosita), Rudy, Ed (Helen) & Ray (Barbara), a brother David (Bertha) Palma, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10:00-11:00AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. A celebration of Mary’s life will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
