Grandma,  I can not put into words how heavy my heart has been over this last week and how many tears I have cried. It all has just seems like a bad dream and in the moments I forget for a minute it all just comes flooding back that you are really gone. I remember growing up I would always tell you how you were going to outlive me and how you would tell me "I sure hope not"! I guess a part of me truly believed that because I just knew how incomplete it would feel not having you here. I was definitely right. I miss your hugs, kisses, your special song for me, how you would instantly smile so big whenever we came to see you, and our conversations about anything and everything. I have so many memories I will hold near and dear to my heart forever. I'm so thankful that you got be apart of my girls lives. You meant so much to them as well. You were one of my favorite people and I know in my heart you wouldn't want any of us to be sad. I just find all the peace I need to help get me through this knowing you are up in Heaven happy with all the people you have missed dearly but, that you are also close enough to watch over us all! I miss you every second of every day and that will never change. I love you a bushel and peck always ♥️👼

I hold you very close to my heart always, especially being I hold the key to your heart ❤️ I hold on to the last thing you ever said to me on Friday “ I love you most my Ericka”. I have so many amazing memories with you from doing puzzles, to reading books, or just watching tv. I have always found so much comfort in you and will miss you everyday! I loved hearing all your stories about grandpa and you, or all the jobs you had, I will miss those.. I know you wanted nothing more then to be with grandpa, uncle Eric, and uncle Joe for Christmas. I’ll keep our daisy safe, I have her as a guard dog now:)

Grandma, I missed you more than you can imagine on Christmas and more  as the days go on. You are such an amazing woman inside and out. I think about the things you would say to me every time you saw me, “you’re so skinny!! i used to be so skinny just like you” “you’re so beautiful so so beautiful with your long long eyelashes”.. Us not being able to decide what red you wanted me to paint your nails even though the reds were pretty much the exact same shade.. to spending 10 minutes going back and forth on who loves each other more until one of us finally said the winning sentence “i love you most.” followed by a big, tight hug and hundreds of kisses. Let’s not forget, I can make the BEST cinnamon toast and butter and jelly toast all thanks to you. I am beyond thankful for all the memories I have gotten to make with you and I will cherish those memories forever. I will miss you forever, you will forever in my heart. I know you are always watching over us and I hope you are having the best time in Heaven with Grandpa, Uncle Eric and Uncle Joe. I love you most.

My grandma was my person. We were blessed to have her so long. 91 years!! She would never let us forget how old she was, and how good she still looked.
We had a bond I will cherish forever. I'm thankful for all the wonderful memories. My world will never be the same.
I love you grandma, a bushel and a peck.
I'll look for butterflies, we had a deal 😉.

Mom we had our first Christmas without your physical presence, but your Spirit was alive and well. You could see its presence on the face of every individual, whether it was a smile or tear drop, you were there! Thanks for you presence. We know we live in your heart, as you will always  live in ours.

By the way, thanks for "flicking the porch light off and on. It kept us safe is so many ways!!"

Grandma Mary was loved by so many people. I was lucky enough to have my great grandma around my whole life, and my daughter had the honor of having and knowing her great great grandma. She was sassy and sweet and always ready for a hug. She was always there for family gatherings, and the holidays have not been the same without her here. We love and miss you so much grandma, hope you're enjoying heaven. 

What can I say about a woman who meant so much to so many. She was beautiful inside and out! I love you more grandma!
