Pete Gomez Hernandez, was born in Grant County, Silver City, New Mexico. On February 23rd, 1933. Pete is predeceased by his 3 brothers Antonio, Manuel, Enrique, and 4 sisters, Bessie, Maggie, Julie and Sara. He was also predeceased by his wife Peggie whom he married at age 17. He is survived by his 7 children, 5 sons and 2 daughters. John (Judy) Hernandez, Tina (Bruce) Johnson, Pete (Becky) Hernandez, Paul (Beth) Hernandez, Joe (Margie) Hernandez, Rebecca (Dale) Weightman, Andrew Hernandez. He has 21 Grandchildren, Richard, Monica, Sonya, Michael, Andria, Cheryl, Sharan, John, Karyn, Michael, Thomas, Joshua, Destiny, Matthew, Donicia, Leah, Frankie, Jennifer, Steven, Eric, Abigail and 34 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. He remarried Hrlinda Vargas and they were married for 19 years. Pete was called home on Feb 12th, 2016. A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church 3213 E. Southern Ave. Phoenix, AZ. 85040 at 11:00am on Sat February 20th 2016.
