

Robert James Kilroy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on December 26, 1969, in Skokie, Illinois, to Ronald Kilroy and Susan Clewis, Rob grew up with a deep love for family and community.
Rob met the love of his life, Connie Carter, and they shared 26 wonderful years together. As a devoted husband and father, he cherished his family above all else. Throughout Rob's life he enjoyed spending time at his family cabin in Michigan, camping and doing some spontaneous traveling.
Known for his kindness, witty sense of humor, and Lutheran faith, Rob touched the lives and hearts of many. Rob served his nation in the U.S. Navy as a Gunner's Mate during the Gulf War/Operations Desert Storm. He then joined the Maricopa County Sharrif's Department as a Detention Officer, and after 20 years of service, he retired. Following retirement, Rob continued to work in the service industry by becoming a Transporter of patients at Banner Del Webb Hospital before his passing.
Rob was predeceased by his father, Ronald Kilroy and recently deceased stepfather, Malcolm Clewis. Rob is survived by his loving wife, Connie Kilroy, their daughter, Zoe and husband, Thomas Baldwin, son, Justin Alcala and grandson, Luke Baldwin, mother Susan Clewis and his sisters, Jori VanCamp and Heather Kershner and their families and his two doggies Sandydee and Maddie.
A private Celebration of Life is being held for Rob on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at his brother-in-law Rusty Carter's home in Glendale, Az. His funeral service will be held at a later date at West Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery in Glendale, AZ.
