

Robin Lyons, of Glendale, Arizona, passed this month at 90 years of age. She was born May 8, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska and died January 7, 2021 in Glendale, Arizona.
She was a daughter of Donald J. Barnhart and Dorothy L. Bayless. Robin married William R. Lyons on her birthday in 1950. They went on to celebrate 39 years of marriage and the birth of 6 children: Russell, Gail, Lee, Linda, William and Colleen.
Robin was an extremely artistic woman and lifelong learner, who, at 70 years of age earned an Honorary Diploma in Biblical Studies. A tireless church supporter, Child Evangelism Fellowship teacher, Red Cross volunteer and cheerleader for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a world traveler/volunteer who helped build houses in Mexico, supported children in Ecuador and widows in Ukraine; all while hiking Israel’s grottos and mountainsides, following in Christ’s footsteps.
Preceded in death by her parent’s, husband and one child; she is survived by 5 children and a sister, Donna, in California.
A private graveside service to happen in the future, at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6420 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona.
