Ruth Hansen,85 of Surprise, AZ, passed away on April 15, 2013. Ruth E. Hansen went home with the Lord. She was born to Ross and Rona Zimmerman on Oct. 30, 1927 in Milwaukee. She graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science in 1949. On Dec. 28, 1953 she married Dean A. Hansen. They had two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Ruth retired from the State of Arizona Children's Protective services. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ruth and Dean would have been married 60 years this December. Church services are Friday April 26 at 10 A.M. at New Song United Methodist Church - 16303 W. Bell Rd. Surprise, AZ 85374.
