I am a friend of both Nikki and Edgar, I have known both of them since high school. I remember first meeting Gus when we were all still in high school. From the moment I met him I instantly saw an amazing father and husband, he joked, laughed, and had a very down to earth personality that was so wonderfully contagious. On various occasions when were in the same car with Gus or at a family celebration he would overhear some conversation between friends and he would step in to give fatherly advise even to those that weren't his own children. For all these reasons and many more he will be dearly missed.

I didn't get to grow up with Jr (that's how I knew him), so i don't have very many memories. I am the last of these 9 crazy, beyond funny & always loving group. Even though I didn't grow up in the same house as Jr, he never made me feel like I wasnt his little sister. He always had a huge hug (I am not a hugger) for me that made me feel loved. Everytime I saw him, he would say "I love my little sister. " pouring love in to every word he said.
I will miss him, & I know he will have a huge hug, smile & a " I love my little sister. " when we meet again. I love you brother!

Tio JR , ❤️❤️

I know that you're looking down on us now . You were the most influential man in my life. I hope that even for a second of every day I embody what you stood for. There are so many adjectives I could use to describe you; hard-working, caring, strong, loyal, funny, stern, gentle and many, many more. I love you and thank you for loving us like your own. ❤️
