

Tanner Joseph Silashki, 28, of Flagstaff, AZ, passed away on December 31, 2023, in Phoenix, AZ. Tanner was born on November 10, 1995, in Flagstaff, AZ to his loving parents, Dennis and Elaine Silashki. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle, leaving behind his sister Erin Dorris and brother-in-law Ryan Dorris, brother Quenton Silashki, and nephew Colin Robison.
Tanner was known for his generous and kind nature. He was a loyal friend who always went above and beyond to help others. His warm-heartedness touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tanner attended DeMiguel Elementary for his primary education and later graduated from Flagstaff High School. He furthered his education at the East Valley Institute of Technology, where he pursued his passion for HVAC technology.
In addition to his career, Tanner had a passion for grilling and gardening. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors, tending to his plants and experimenting with new recipes on the grill. His hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to showcase his creativity and culinary skills.
Tanner is survived by his parents, Dennis and Elaine Silashki, his sister Erin (Ryan) Dorris, his brother Quenton Silashki, his nephew Colin Robison, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ervin and Margie Van Ert, and Daniel and Olga Jo Silashki, as well as his uncles Dennis Van Ert and Richard Van Ert.
Tanner will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his craft, and his love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Tanner’s memory to carry on his giving spirit.
A celebration of Tanner’s life will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix North/Happy Valley, 2029 West Whispering Wind Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85085.
