

He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on June 2, 1939. Thomas graduated from Benton Harbor high school in 1957. After high school he went on to serve 3 years in the United States Army. He received a degree in Criminal Science from Grand Canyon University. He also received a bachelor’s degree in business.
He was married to Elda Kopischke in Michigan and then divorced a few years later but remained friends.
Tom worked was a business owner and then served 26 years in law enforcement as an Arizona DPS officer. He was a member of VFW, Arizona Highway Patrol association and had a passion for golf, spending time with his family.
He was a lifelong bachelor and is survived by his only child Chris (Deborah) , very close best friends, grandchildren Sheala, Casey, Christopher Jr, Spencer, Jennifer, Chris, Great-grandchildren; Connor, Isabelle, Terry, Nathan, David, Olivia, Jordyn, his only siblings; Linda Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. His parents and Brother Ron precede him in his death.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
