Lavern “Vern” Frederick Webb, 71, of Phoenix Arizona entered into Heaven on October 13, 2019. Vern was born in Long Beach, California on March 1, 1948 and started his life with Lydia and Lavern Webb. Vern grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with his sister Linda. He attended Cortez High School and then graduated from Washington High School. Vern studied and became a plumber working with “Exclusively Plumbing” until he started his own business, which he worked and ran right up until he graduated into Heaven. Vern had his own style and lived life by his own terms. He wore Levi’s, white t-shirts, and white tennis shoes (that he liked to wear just a little bit worn). Vern's passion was politics. He enjoyed reading about it, watching it on TV and talking to others about it. Vern and Dorothy were married in Phoenix, Arizona in 1986 and began their lives together with 7 children.
Vern leaves behind his love Dorothy; children Christy (David), Clint (J.D.), Evan, David (Kirsten), Laura (Grant), Tina (Jim), Christina (Frankie); grandchildren Devon, Alexis, Logan, Jake, Ryan, Zack, Amanda, Josh, Joe, Jessica, Christopher, Heather, Tabitha, Marc-Anthony, & Julian; great grandchildren Riley, Clover, Jaxon, Tatum, Emmie, Elena & Christian; his sister Linda; and his cousins Mark & Vicki Woodard.
Vern is preceded in Heaven by his parents Lavern & Lydia and his grandchildren Nicholas, Nicole and Anthony.
Services for Vern will be held on Friday November 1, 2019 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary at 11:30am followed by a burial at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave. Glendale, Arizona at 1pm. A reception to continue the "Celebration of Vern's Life" to be announced at the service.
