Vi was born on October 1, 1925 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Jacob and Mary Ann Roth.
Vi graduated from Capitol Catholic High School (Hayden) in 1944 and started working for AT&T in Topeka. She moved to California in 1951 and worked for AT&T, retiring after 37 years of service as an engineer in the Chief Engineer’s Department in San Diego.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, good friends & neighbors, (especially in Bonita, California) who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents Vi was predeceased by her husbands, Jack Baruch, Bob Smith & Don Griffin, eight brothers, six sisters, nieces and nephews.
Internment will take place at a later date in Topeka, Kansas with her family at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
