Andreason, Larry age 73 of La Cañada-Flintridge, CA passed away on March 25, 2026 in Pasadena. Larry was born in San Bernardino and raised in the Westchester area of Los Angeles. He graduated from Westchester High School and Los Angeles Trade Tech College. His career was in carpentry and construction, and he was a member of the Carpenters’ Union from 1974 until retiring in 2017.
Larry had a love for outdoors and hiking. He participated in many organizations in pursuit of his love for the outdoors including scouting where he achieved the highest honor of Eagle Scout. Larry also enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada as well as overseas.
Larry was always an active member of his community and involved in many organizations. He particularly enjoyed his work with the La Cañada Rose Float Association building their community-based float for the Rose Parade each year.
Larry was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and much of his community work was connected with the missions of the church.
Larry enjoyed time with his family and was a proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Eremita DeMiranda; daughters Bethany (Andreason) Heneise and Megan (Andreason) Cheney; and grandchildren Emma (Heneise) Loebs, Selah Heneise, Eliana Heneise, Luke Heneise, Olivia Heneise, John Paul Heneise, Isaac Heneise, Andrew Heneise, Amariah Cheney, Adalyn Cheney, Elijah Cheney and Ezra Cheney.
Memorial Services will be held at Glendale First United Methodist Church 134 N. Kenwood St., Glendale on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 10:00 am followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Rose Hills Memorial Park 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier.
A viewing will also be available on Friday, May 8th from 12 noon to 4:00 pm at Glendale Funeral Home 511 South Central Ave., Glendale.
