Dear Cousins Marie,  Charles and Kelly,  the Gamble; Arena and Spaulding Family .  To all the Grands and Great-Grands.  Our sincere condolences Maryann and the derasmo family.  Dear Aunt Ev.  I love you and will miss you.  You're the Aunt that always picked up her phone to chat and never hung up without saying "be good," and I love you!  I will think of you foundly and often.   With every piece of Indian Art, Elvis Memorabilia and of course James Dean movie   To your Caldor family my condolences.  Our conversations always included Caldors while you worked there.  You were devoted to those around you.  You loved to knitt.  You used to tell me what you were knitting or who just had a baby and you were making something cute!  When you got sick in 2015,  I visited;  you met some challenges while eating and holding your folk.  I asked if I could help?  Not a good question?  You gave me one of those Aunt Ev tilted head wide-eyed looks, simultaneously telling me " to get the *- out-of-here,".  Ohhh how we laughed!!! I should have asked ~Was that a candybar from the vending machine Aunt Ev I may help with?   Thank you Aunt Evelyn for being there and for loving me.  You will be missed.  Tonight the priest said " you knew where you stood with Ev!" I loved that.  Psalms 23 and Prayer of St Francis.  Make us a chamnel of Your peace.   Beautiful!  Peace granted to Evelyn Arena and perpetual light shine on my beautiful Aunt Evelyn through the mercy of G~d.  Rest-In-Peace Aunt Ev.  Until we see each other again.  ❤ yours ever, your niece Mair

Dear Charlie, Kelly & Arena family
I’m very sorry about the loss of your mom. Charlie , I know you and my brother go back to single digits but I had a great relationship with your mother on social media for years. She always showed me support and love,  so much compassion. She was so funny!
I will never forget her making my mom a blanket when she was sick. And then after my mom passed I told her the blanket got ruined in the hospital. Your mother told me to pick out my own colors that I like, and she made me the most beautiful blanket, that I will always treasure. Thank you Evelyn for your friendship, compassion, and kindness. May you rest in eternal peace
