Karl Stalzer, of Middle Village; passed away at 85 years of age. Born in Gottschee, Mr. Stalzer was a decorated U.S Army veteran who was wounded in Korea and was the owner of Karl's Meat Market for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife Emma and by his loving children Roland (and the late Lisa) Edmund & Geraldine, John & Parawan, Stephanie & Ronald Roemer. He will be fondly remembered by his adoring grandchildren Robert, Thomas, Kerri, Matthew, Johnathan, Natalie & Emily; and his sister Sophia Wyant. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 9th, 9:45am at St. Margaret's RC Church in Middle Village. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorn, NY.
