For 65 years, Salvatore was a devoted husband to Calogera, and they shared and built a beautiful life together. He was a beloved father to Gabriele and Francesca, and father-in-law to Mary and Salvatore. He was a cherished grandfather to Samantha, Julia, Matthew, and Salvatore, and his presence in their lives will be remembered as steady, loving, and deeply meaningful.
Salvatore was the pinnacle of the American dream, beginning his career as a tailor in Sicily before immigrating to New York and working for Salvatore Ferragamo and other luxury designers. He took great pride in his craft, and his dedication, precision, and professionalism reflected the care he brought to everything he did. He remained proud of the work he created with his own hands and is leaving a legacy of devotion, generosity, and strength that will continue to guide those who loved him.
After retiring, Salvatore remained very physically active and enjoyed running and bike riding. He loved soccer, and he also found joy in Latin music and salsa dancing, interests that reflected his vibrant spirit and the warmth he brought into every room. Always stylish, Salvatore took pride in his appearance and carried himself with confidence and a very big personality.
Salvatore will be remembered always and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
