Moved to Evergreen, Colorado at age 6 months. Graduated from Evergreen High School 1945 and Colorado School of Mines in1954 with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Eric worked 35 years with Phillips Petroleum.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Clyde Hopper, one of his son's Kenneth Hopper and numerous cousins.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ida May Hopper, daughters, Karin Schnell and Mya Lloyd, son, Mark Hopper, sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Vern Helbig and 9 grandchildren.
