Gweneth M Selbe

She attended Mitchell Elementary, Golden Junior High and graduated from Golden High School in 1949.

Gwen married Wayne Selbe on September 23, 1950. They had 6 children; Tonya, Donald, Deborah, Susan, Janice and Joyce. She has 13 grandchildren; Gary, Connie, Jessie, Danielle, Michael, Donald (Bubba), Josh, Jennifer, Jamie, Katie Anne, Jack, Cody and Shelby. She also was the great grandmother to 12; Tracey, Ashlee, James, Franky, Zander, Addison, Krysta, M'Kayla, Avery, Emma, Cheyenne and Christopher. She had 1 great-great-grandchild; Nevaeh.

Gwen worked for King Soopers as a checker. Following her retirement she worked at Christopher Dodge World and Meyer Hardware in Golden.

She bowled on a league with her sisters and enjoyed bowling in tournaments. She also enjoyed watching game shows, especially "The Price is Right". She was an avid sports fan. She loved the Broncos, Rockies and Avalanche. Going out to eat was something else she truly enjoyed. She always ate desert first.

Gwen loved her family and friends. She was a caregiver. She was loved by everyone who knew her, her smile brightened the whole town of Golden.

She will be greatly missed.
