James Arthur Dillon

Born November 13, 1935 to Ross Harold and Dorothy Virginia (Smith) Dillon in Denver, Colorado and passed away peacefully on February 14, 2012 in Batesville, Arkansas with his wife Karen by his side. Along with his wife, Jim is survived by sons Michael (Valorie) Dillon of Houston, TX, John (Deanne) Dillon of Thornton, Co, daughters Dorothy (James) Barrett of Fountain, Co and Denice Dillon of Cheyenne, WY and 1 step-daughter Kathy (Mark) Easley of Frisco, TX. Brother, Richard Dillon of Evergreen, Co along with 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jim also had numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Olinger-Woods Funeral Home in Golden; followed by Inurnment at the Golden Cemetery. There will be a family dinner and gathering at Furr’s Cafeteria at 4900 Kipling St. Wheatridge, CO 80401.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the James Dillon Memorial Fund at any First Bank locations.

Memorial Services will take place at Olinger Woods Chapel, 1100 Washington Avenue, Golden, CO on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2:00pm. An Inurnment with Military Honors will immediately follow at the Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses Street, Golden, CO.
