Ana "Ivette" Simpson

Ana Ivette Simpson, fondly known as Ivette, passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 29, 1945 to Olga Bloise Martinez DeAndino and the late Frank Martinez DeAndino. She was the loving and devoted wife of John Charles Simpson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, husband, daughter Stacey Ivette Foster and her husband Darrin, grandchildren Carley and Nicholas Foster and sister Maria Anderson and her husband John. She is preceded in death by her father, brothers Frank Elvyn DeAndino and Frank Henry DeAndino.

Ivette was a devoted wife, mother and Tita, she was adored by her family just as she adored each and every one of them. She loved to travel and see all sorts of new things. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching TV shows with her husband, cheering on the Tigers, having random conversations with strangers and debating just about anything you can think of. But most of all it was the time spent with family and friends that she lived for. Ivette enjoyed buying and giving gifts year round and spoiling her grand pup Ginger with treats. Family was the most important thing to her, her grandchildren were the greatest gifts in her life. Her warm, loving personality will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
