In her 92 years she had many occupations, bookkeeper, she trained racehorses, deputy sheriff, hairdresser, barrel racer and owned a snowball shop after retiring.
She raised her 2 daughters in Opelousas until they moved to Baton Rouge in 1975.
She is survived by her daughters Gwen Loupe and Julie Comeaux and her son in law Vince Comeaux. Also her grandchildren Zac Comeaux, Kris Loupe (Jennifer), Kelli Loupe and Shane Courtney (Amy). Also great-grand children Bentley, Kasen, Georgia, Keegan, Joselyn, Noah, Claire, Luke and Stella. Also her nieces Sandy Andrepont and Patty (Dwight) Holleman.
Preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ivory Folks, Alice Graffagino, Houston Folks, Calvin Folks and Bell Fontenot.
