Bobby Joel Howell, Sr.

GONZALES – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Bobby Joel Howell, Sr., age 58, at 1:00 pm Monday, February 2, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales. Interment will follow at Beauty Hill Family Cemetery in Killian, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.

A native of Fort Benning, Georgia and resident of St. Amant, Mr. Howell passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and loved his job at Jerry Hanna River Ventures. Mr. Howell was an avid motorcyclist with his Harley being a great passion. Mr. Howell loved life. He was a well-respected man in the community and most importantly, was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Loraine Howell; mother, Evie Stevens; daughters, Kelli Cavalier and husband Dominique, Khasi Howell and husband Kevin Lhachney; son, Bobby Joel Howell, Jr. and significant other, Chelsea Howell; grandchildren, Zara Owens, Bradley Kindred, Brice Kindred, Zain Kindred, Isahk Lachney, Hailey Lachney, Halee Howell, Brailyn “Little Rainy” Howell; sisters, Janie Ebeling and husband Johnny, Sue Pendarvis, Jackie Leto and husband Mark; twin brother, Larry Doel Howell and wife Joyce and brother, Billy Howell, Jr. and wife Lisa. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Howell and step-father, Clayton H. Stevens.
