Brad Granier

Brad met the love of his life, Jacklyn Higginbotham in December 2017, they were married on February 10, 2024. He was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and his love and support for his family and community. His smile was bigger than life and he truly never met a stranger.

He was a graduate of East Ascension High School in 2006 and continued his education at Louisiana Technical College, where he obtained a certification in Machinery. He worked as a machinist for Quality Machine Works LLC. He was well loved by his colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed what he did.

Brad had a huge heart and was always willing to help anybody in need. His radiant smile lit up the room every time he walked in. Brad had a passion for old vehicles and antiques, and traveling many miles to car shows all over the South with his wife and friends. He was very involved in the classic car scene. A member of Relaxed Atmosphere, Louisiana Classic Auto Club, LA Classic Truck Club, the C-10 Club, and Aftermath.

He always enjoyed spending time with family & friends and hanging out with his beloved dogs, Arlo, Daisy and Dino.

He enjoyed fishing, wood working and family game nights with his in-laws often.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacklyn Granier; his parents, David & Monica Granier; sisters, Carmel Abney (Ricky), Kelly Edwards (Lawson) & Courtney Rabalais (Chad); in-laws, Jack & Sharon Higginbotham. He is also survived by his Godchildren Brooke and Bryson Rabalais; nieces & nephews, Derrick Abrey, Ashley Carpenter, Kayla Kelly, Nicholas Edward, Amanda Kling & Hannah Rabalais and 13 great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Johnnie Mae Brown Bourgeois and Myrtle Grainer Bearb.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Brad’s Life on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737.
