

Carbet Francis Gautreau, 76 of St. Amant, LA passed away at his residence March 29, 2016. Mr. Gautreau loved fishing and deer hunting, he was a roofer by trade and was still working small jobs up to his getting ill.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Carol Bercegeay; 4 daughters- Angela and Earl Gill of Gonzales, Carla Leblanc and Wayne Hebert of Maurepas, Rachael and Shannon Deville of Gonzales, Wanda and David Nickens of Gonzales. 2 sons - Ricky and Johnette Bercegeay Sr. of Gonzales, Allen Bercegeay of St. Amant. 3 sisters- Grace Delaume of St. Amant, Irma and Lynn Savoy of St. Amant, Arlene and Prosper Moran of St. Amant. 3 brothers- Stanley Gautreau, Sr. of Gonzales, Elson and Betty Gautreaux of St. Amant, Ronald and Dianne Gautreau, Sr. of St. Amant.
Proceeded in death by his parents; Felman and Mamie Gautreau, his son Carbet, Jr., Step granddaughters Ceilia and Brittney, Step- Great Granddaughter Breanna Bercegeay, Brother-n-law Leon Delaune, Sister-n-law Louise Gautreau, Nephew Stanley Gautreau, Jr., Niece Dawn Bertelot.
Pallbearers will be Travis Gill, Richard Bercegeay, Wayne Hebert, Ronald Gautreaux, Jr., Jarod Worthy and Daryl Nickens.
Visitation will be Friday, April 1st, 9am to 1pm funeral service will be at 1pm at Ourso Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Moran will officiate. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery on Highway 30 in Gonzales.
