Carlton D. Stafford

Carlton D. Stafford passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 82. He was a lifelong resident of Holden, LA. He is survived by his children Phillip Stafford (Debbie), Cynthia Watkins (Bruce), Tiffany Norred (Rowdy), Jeremy Stafford (Janet) and Katrina Waldrep (William), 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and his sister Marie McMorris. He is preceded in death by his parents Hannie and Ollie Stafford and his 4 siblings.

Carlton was a man who lived a simple life. He loved being outdoors, whether he was cutting grass for those around him or out on one of his many hunting trips, the outdoors was his place of peace. He enjoyed spending time with his family having cookouts and hanging out around the campfire. But above all he loved the Lord and spending time at his church. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at New Life Baptist Church in Independence on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 beginning at 10AM, the Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM.
