Catherine Haynes Mendel

Catherine Haynes Mendel, 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was a Native of Blountsville, AL and a resident of Gonzales, LA. Catherine enjoyed fishing with her loving husband of 55 years and being with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Edward Charles Mendel, Jr.; daughter, Mischa Mendel Templet (Toby); brothers, Harlin Haynes (Debbie), Jim Haynes, Tommy Haynes (Rona), David Haynes; grandchildren, Sascha Thomas (Todd Lucas), Macalah Thomas, Julian Warden; great grandchild, Delilah Warden and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward Charles Mendel III; parents, Eldridge and Mary Woodard Haynes; brother, Richard Haynes. Family and friends of Catherine are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home-Gonzales from 8am-10am with Funeral Services immediately following.
