Charles Morris Borskey Jr.

Charles Morris Borskey, Jr., age 86, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2022. Charles was born on January 2, 1936, in Baton Rouge, LA. He attended Baton Rouge High School and continued a lifelong career in the industrial contracting business completing over 30 years with Anco Industries. He was a member of Asbestos Local #53. He was proceeded in death by his wife Paula Mae Brignac Borskey, mother, Patsy Babin Bateman, father, Charles Morris Borksey, Sr., sister, Patti Borskey Rowlett, brother, Ronald Borskey, daughter, Terri Borskey Hill, and daughter-in-law, Patty Shonk Borskey. He is survived by his son Charles "Chuck" Lane Borskey, daughter, Carolyn Gay Heard (Dan), son, Clayton Jay Borskey (Beth), and his granddaughter whom he raised as his own, Tara Paige Bourgeois, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren. Charles raised his family in St. Amant, LA and was a life-long member of New River United Methodist Church in St. Amant and a life -long member of New River Masonic Lodge #402. He was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at New River United Methodist Church, 46040 Louisiana Highway 22 St. Amant, LA. There will be a Masonic remembrance at 10:30 AM. Family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to New River Methodist Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 457, St. Amant, LA 70774.
