

Jeff was a proud member of the Walker High School Band, where he formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories. He had a deep fascination with understanding how things worked, especially electronics, a passion that led him to pursue degrees in Information Technology. Known for his warm spirit and playful nature, Jeff was especially beloved by his nieces and nephews, who affectionately knew him as the “fun uncle.”
Jeff’s presence brought joy to all who knew him. His love, laughter, kindness, mischief, and unforgettable hugs will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Sibley; his parents, Darron and Barbara Sibley; his brothers, John Sibley and Darron “Toot” Sibley Jr. (wife Tiffany); and his cherished fur babies, Willow “Princess,” Levi, and Winnie. He is also survived by his father- and mother-in-law, Gary and Shelia Brecheen; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Michael Brecheen (wife Chasity), Floyd Ferguson (wife Melissa), Brandie Harris, and Kristy Higginbotham (husband Lester); along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Juliette Thornton, and Fuqua and Hilma Sibley; his aunt, Velda Thornton Davis; his uncles, Doug Thornton and Kevin Sibley; his mother-in-law, Kathy Galbraith; and his grandparents-in-law, Edward and Louise Brecheen and Charlie and Odalie Gayle.
Services for Jeff will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Midway Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m.
Jeff’s memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.
