

On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, God called his precious little angel, Claire Alyssa Carline, home in heaven. Claire, age 15, was a resident of Prairieville. Claire was a very creative and fantastic artist who always used her talents as a means of expression with her friends and family. She was an honor student who always expected excellence in her school work and she often helped tutor other kids so they could excel and reach higher achievements. Claire had a strong personality and didn't appreciate kids who bullied others. She often expressed concern for them and would do whatever she could to help. Claire was also very driven and hated to procrastinate about anything. She is survived by her loving parents, Troy and Lisa Carline; sisters, Camille and Colleen Carline; grandparents, Charles and Nora Carline and Carrie Doucet; aunts and uncles, Travis Carline and wife, Amy, Maxine Savoy and husband, Dwight, Jamie Carline and wife Kelly, June Lacour and husband Gil, Brian Carline and wife, Julia, Kenny Carline and wife, Lisa, Rose Comeaux and husband, William, Ellen King and husband Dave and numerous cousins. Claire is preceded in death by her grandfather, L. Charles Doucet; great-grandfather, Ivory Carline; cousin, Benjamin McLean; great aunts, Carolyn Rodrigue and Inez Denoux. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home 913533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales LA 70737). Visitation will resume on Monday, December 15, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (15208 Highway 73, Prairieville, LA 70769) from 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr.
