Colleen Owens Grace

Colleen Owens Grace, born October 2, 1954, and a resident of Prairieville, passed peacefully on February 12, 2026. A longtime parishioner of St. George Catholic Church, Colleen devoted her life to family, faith, and service. She retired after 40 years in healthcare management and cherished spending her time with those she loved most. Her life was firmly rooted in faith, which she lived out daily through kindness, compassion, and a servant's heart. She will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, her generous spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. Colleen is survived by her two sons, Chad Grace and his wife, Cydney, along with their sons, Beckett and Sullivan; and her son, Tannon Grace. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Owens; her father, Ted Owens; her brother, Teddy Owens; and the father of her children, Dennis J. Grace. Those who knew Colleen were touched by her gentle nature and steady encouragement. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she brightened. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. George Catholic Church in the chapel from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. May she rest in the peace of Christ she so faithfully followed.
