Connie Lynn Fontaine McDaniel

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Larry McDaniel; son, Kevin McDaniel; daughter, Courtney McDaniel; grandson, Nathan Drago; father and stepmother, Don and Elaine Fontaine; brother, Steven Fontaine and wife Ashley; three brothers-in-law, Michael McDaniel, Robby McDaniel and wife Leslie, and Chad McDaniel; two sisters-in-law, Missy Oliver and husband Sam, and Dedrua McDaniel; nephews and nieces, Christopher “Gage” Fontaine, Jacquelin, Brittany, and Melanie McDaniel, Austin Elrod, Brook, Donald, Abigail, and Savannah Oliver, and Cody Mizell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia M. Fontaine.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Michael Zeigler. Burial will follow in Oak Lane Memorial Park in Prairieville.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Jed Morris and Dr. Fraser Landreneau who “fought to give us so many blessed years with Connie.” The family would also like to extend thanks to all those who prayed for Connie; “Your love and support have carried our family through the past six years. Connie was beautiful, caring, strong, and kept our whole family together; she will always be our angel.”
