Corbin passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at his Prairieville home, in the arms of his loving parents, Rebekah (Strasen) and Daniel Duplechin, Jr. He was born Dec. 28, 2011. In his 28 days with us, Corbin touched the lives of many. In addition to his parents, Corbin is also survived by his big brother, Archer Duplechin; grandparents, John and Debbie Strasen; grandmother, Connie Duplechin; and great-grandparents, Mary Ann Cummins, Mary Ann Landreth, Annette Strasen, Bill and Carol Strasen. There will be a graveside service at Oak Lane Memorial Park Cemetery, 15304 La. 73, Prairieville, on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to an account at Shell Geismar Federal Credit Union, (225) 647-1111, www.sgfcu.com, in his name. The proceeds of which will go to the local March of Dimes Association in recognition of their charitable donations to the NICU at Woman's Hospital.
