Craig Joseph Bruno passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the age of 70. He was born on April 15, 1953, in Baton Rouge, LA and was a resident of Prairieville, LA. Craig was a dedicated salesman for many years and owned his own business, Circle R Trailers, for the last 16 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife of almost 50 years, with his family, and at his home away from home in Magnolia, MS. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Rye Bruno; sons, Vincent Ignatius Bruno (Julie) and Damon Craig Bruno (Jenny); sister, Rebecca Bruno; brother, Ralph Bruno (Debbie); grandchildren, Colin, Anna, Abby, Drew, Coy, and Dane Bruno, Allie Soileau (John) and Derek Gremillion; and his four-legged companion, Maggie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius and Catherine (Gulino) Bruno. Family and friends are respectfully invited to join the family in a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a rosary at 11:30. The Rite of Committal and burial will immediately follow at Serenity Oaks. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are his sons, grandsons, nephew, Luke Waddell, and honorary pallbearer, brother, Ralph Bruno. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a church or charity of your choosing.
