Edwin enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially while out camping. Windy always enjoyed listening to swamp pop and dancing with his wife. He was a huge NASCAR, LSU and Saints fan. Windy was a man of few words, but there are no words to truly describe how wonderful of a man he was. He was hard working, strong, thoughtful, kind, compassionate and loving. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, they had their PaPa wrapped around there fingers. He also adored playing with his fur baby Angelle, that was his baby.
Windy was a simple man and per his wishes did not want to have any services. In memory of Windy, please consider making a donation to the Mayo Clinic Neurology Department in Jacksonville, Florida for them to continue their research. Windy was so selfless and has already made the ultimate donation to the Mayo Clinic for them to further their knowledge on his rare condition, Perry Syndrome. The family would like to also extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Michael McCarthy, MD of Baton Rouge, Dr. Z. Wszolek, MD of Jacksonville, Dr. Brynn Dredla of Jacksonville, Dr. B.
