Elnora "Nora" Villnurve Decoteau

A lifelong resident of Sorrento, Nora passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was 93. Nora loved cooking, baking and working in her yard. She also loved to frequent the casinos to try her luck on the slot machines. She is survived by her daughter in law, Debbie Trabeau; son in law, David Lambert; sisters, Hazel and Edmond "Bibbie" Lee, Sammie Melancon, and Judith "Jut" and Gary Babin; grandchildren, Megan and Jason Schexnayder and Chris and Angela Trabeau; and great grandchildren, Brooke Schexnayder and Alyssa Trabeau. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph "Dub" Trabeau and Allen Decoteau; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Villnurve; son, Kerry Trabeau; and brother in law, Frank Melancon. Visiting will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Sorrento from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial to follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Amant. Pallbearers will be Chris Trabeau, Tregg Babin, Jason Schexnayder, Gary Babin, David Lambert and Grady Melancon. Edmond Lee will serve as honorary pallbearer. She lived her life giving to others and will be greatly missed.
