Gary Demars, born November 30, 1949, passed from a car accident on Monday, November 27, 2023. He is now in the hands of our Lord and Savior. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, of 24 years, Cheryl Demars; sons, Jesse Demars (Crystal) and Chuck Demars (Amy); grandchildren, Caroline, Grace, Autumn, Hunter, Beau, Owen, and Gabriel Demars; and brother in law, Whitney Foret. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Rosa Demars; and sister, Jerrie Foret.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life visitation on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 21949 LA-444 Livingston, LA 70754, from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Jesse Demars, Chuck Demars, Whitney Foret, Brian Lobell, Ted Stevens, and Terrell Stevens. A special thank you to all of the Pine Grove Church family for all of their prayers.
