Geneva Cockerham

Geneva Cockerham, age 98, of Livingston, La passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 surrounded by her family. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara McMorris; 2 sons, Clyde “C C” Cockerham (Anita), and Raymond Cockerham; 6 grandchildren, Greg McMorris (Rita), Derek McMorris (Natalie), Lisa Thacker (Mason), Gay Nell Milton (Lance), Liz Barnett (Richard) and Todd McMorris (Julie); 16 great grand-children, 29 great great grand-children, and 2 great great great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, Clyde Cockerham; her parents, August and Alvina Berthelot Ouber; great grandson K.C. Dugas; sons-in-law, Ernest McMorris and Wayne McMorris; and 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm and will resume on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 9 am with funeral starting at 11 am at Plainview Baptist Church 25162 Joe May Rd. Denham Springs, La. 70726. She will be laid to rest in Plainview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her great grandsons.
