Geraldine “Jerri” Smith passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the age of 95. She was a native of Huntington, WV and a resident of Prairieville, LA. She loved painting, spending time at home with her dogs, Tippy and Sammy, and shopping. She is survived by her sons, William Eugene Smith, Jr. (Teresa) and Gary Lee Smith (Linda); grandchildren, William E. Smith III, Jason Smith, Meagan Smith Monte Sauers, Melissa Mitchell, Melinda Roberts, Andrea Jenkins, and Heather McCoy; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. “Bill” Smith; daughter, Janine Gail Smith; and parents, Katherine Musselman Smith and James Smith. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, 37577 Duplessis Rd. Prairieville, LA 70769, where a committal service and interment will take place.
