Gloria Templet Cannon

Gloria Templet Cannon, loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, died on Monday, August 15, 2011. A resident of St. Amant, she was 81. Her survivors are son, Jack and wife Patty, of St. Amant; three daughters, Lynn and husband Dean Williams, of Houston; Sherryl and husband Stephen Myers, of St. Amant; and Carla and husband Edward C. Ball Jr., of Baton Rouge; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Guy Cannon; daughters Deborah Cannon and Donna Cannon; son-in-law, Chuck Kelley; parents, Monroe Templet and Vivian Bercegeay Bergeron; and two sisters, Nira Brown and Nell Doucet. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Wednesday, August 17, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 18, at New River United Methodist Church in St. Amant from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev.
