John W Colligan Sr.

John Webb Colligan, Sr., a resident of Gonzales, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the age of 79. He was born in Baton Rouge on January 4, 1935 to the late Daniel Colligan, Sr. and Anna Mae Braud. He was a retired maintenance mechanic with Air Products in St. Gabriel, LA. He was a 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus with the St. Theresa Council # 2657.

John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucille Blanchard Colligan; daughter, Kim Colligan and husband Ronnie; sons, Gary Colligan and wife Marla, John Colligan, Jr., Michael Colligan, Sr. and wife Tammy, Mark Colligan, Sr. and wife Miranda, and Brett Colligan; sisters, Janelle Hanna and Anna Mae Doucette; grandchildren, Jamie Gore Savoy, Leslie Gore, Gabrielle Richard, Anna Richard, Lindsay Colligan, Faith Colligan, Michael Colligan, Jr., Maura Colligan, Mark Colligan, Jr., Joel Blanchard; and great grandchild, Cooper Savoy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Ann Colligan Gore; and siblings, Daniel Colligan, Jr., Mary Frances Feller, and Kathleen Mitchell.

Visiting will be at St. Mark Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 pm, Rev. Rubin Reynolds, officiating. Burial to follow in Cornerview Cemetery, Gonzales.
