John "Charlie" Lieux

John Charles Lieux (Charlie) entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family in his home on October 17, 2024, at the age of 55. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. As a cherished husband, father, and friend, he created countless memories with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Lauri Hingle Lieux. He was a loving father to Alaina Nicole Lieux and Landen Albin Lieux (fiancée Madison Leigh Hurt). He is preceded in death by his father John Albin Lieux and his father-in-law Roland Thomas Hingle Sr. He is survived by his mother Carole Morley Mosely, Laverne Lieux, Toni Boe, Amy Solar, Kurt Malbrough, and his mother-in-law Barbara Edgecombe Hingle. He is also survived by other family members and numerous friends. John was the owner of Precision Pest Control in St. Amant, Louisiana. He was dedicated and committed to pleasing his customers. He enjoyed the simple things in life and never met a stranger. John was known for his sense of humor and his love of life. Many wonderful memories and stories were told on repeat while at his fishing camp in Grand Isle. To honor John’s memory, a celebration of his life will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA 70737, on Monday, October 21, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM-1:30 PM, and the service will follow at 1:30PM. Interment will be private. The Lieux Family wishes to express heartful gratitude to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center along with Dr. Daniel Lavie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gonzales Area Foundation in memory of John Charles Lieux.
