Judith Swanner Enloe passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the age of 78. She was a native of Shreveport, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA. She was a caring, kind, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Judy was a faithful member of Ascension Baptist Church. She touched the lives of many people throughout her years, as a Sunday school teacher. Judy was a retiree of Albertson’s where she was head baker for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband Edward E. Enloe; James’ widow, Wendy Enloe; sons, Jeff (Patricia), Bobby (Tony Mack), and Brian (Kaye) Enloe; brother-in-law, Bill “BJ” Phillips (Jan); grandchildren, Beau and Kaylea Enloe, Jeffery and Brandi Enloe, Jennifer, Jordan, Joshua and Olivia Enloe, Dalton Enloe and Holly and Matt Runde; step grandchildren, Emily and Evan; great-grandchildren: Rowan, Wynston, Waylon, Della Rose Enloe, and Eli Denham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wallace Swanner and Leta Fern Swanner Gumber; son, James Enloe; and brother, Jerry Swanner.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737, on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Graveside service will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road Shreveport, LA 71109, on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 12:45 p.m. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Joshua Enloe, Dalton Enloe, Jeffery Enloe, Holly Runde, Jennifer Enloe, Jordan Enloe, and Beau Enloe. Funeral arrangements were made by Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales.
