

A resident of Brittany, she died early Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 65. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, at First Baptist Church of Gonzales from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr. Jim Law. Burial in New River Baptist Cemetery. Survived by her husband of more than 47 years, John D. Wild; father, Milton W. “Tiny” Lee; daughter, Melissa L. Temple; son and daughter-in-law, John David II and Alicia Wild; sister, Deborah Lee; brother-in-law, Melton J. Tullier; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, C.E. and Margaret Wild; and four grandchildren, Heather and Lauren Temple, J.D. and Landon Wild. Preceded in death by her mother, Lilburne Nettles Lee; mother-in-law, Julia A. Wild; and sister, Nancy Jo Tullier. She was a founding partner of South Louisiana Contractors Inc. and Wild Trucking & Construction. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gonzales where she served in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and traveling. She graduated valedictorian of Gonzales High School, class of 1963.
