A native of Wichita Falls Texas and resident of Prairieville, he passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the age of 49. He is survived by a son, Travis Martinez; daughter, Kelly Martinez; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Rodney Goforth; brother, Gary Martinez; mother of his children, Penny Martinez; best friend, Mike Garner; cousin and friend, Rafe Barbaree; numerous other family members; and a beloved pet, Rudy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacinto Yabarra Martinez & Bell Marie Williams Martinez. There will be a visitation Monday, March 12 at Philippians Church, 13353 Highway 44, Gonzales, LA, from 5-9pm, service at 6:30pm
