He graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1953. He attended the University of Monroe, and while in college, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity, where he met his loving wife. After serving time in Germany for two years with the Army, Larry married his wife, Luada "Snug" Parisey, in Monroe. In his leisure, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, and watching sports with his family. His main priorities and enjoyments, however, remained his strong Catholic faith and his relationship with his family. As the patriarch of the family, Bud cherished and enjoyed spending time with his five children and ten grandchildren, ranging from the ages of 29 to two years old. His love for his family was infectious and inspiring. His spirit, humility, and graciousness filled others with joy and happiness and provided an everlasting example for generations to come. His smile and personality brought joy and laughter to an entire room. He was revered in his community and admired by his closest friends and family. He will truly be missed. His commitment and loyalty to the company and customers earned him numerous awards and accomplishments throughout his 49 year relationship with Clark-Louisiana Lift and Equipment. It was one of his greatest accomplishments outside of his family.
