Dear Russ,
   Connie,Jennifer,Stephanie and I are saddened to learn of the passing of your dear Lois.It calls forth the memories of the days when we were neighbors. Stephanie still lives in our house on Cape Hatteras while Connie and I live in my mom's old house on Olympic Ave.
    We were proud when Lois went back to school to become an RN. We are happy to know that you'll were able to travel and enjoy that experience.
    Be comforted with the knowledge that she is with her Lord and is waiting for you to join her.

I am deeply sorry to hear about Mrs. Lois. She was a wonderful woman who loved helping people. Life doesn't always make sense to us. The heartache of losing someone so close never completely fades and the memories that each of us were lucky enough to share with her are gentle reminders of how fragile life is. Try to keep your heart open and immerse yourself in the memories and she will always be close to your heart. I am grateful that she was a big part of my family's life growing up and my thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I worked with Lois for many years at Womans Hospital. Such a sweet, vibrant and caring nurse and friend. She will be truly missed. Sending prayers to her family during this difficult time for the loss of a truly sweet person.

Russ, Tracie and Jeff we love you all more than you'll ever know! Lois will always live in my heart....I will always cherish our memories of what a wonderful gal she was! Always welcoming our family with open arms! She loved each of you more than anything and I know she will be guide all of us everyday for the rest of our lives. She was wise, practical, kind and the best cook ever! Myrtie, Aunt Dot, Mama, everyone, all of us loved her!!'

What a wonderful friend and neighbor for 30 years. Russ, our family grieves for you and your children at this time. Always remember the good times that you had together and remember that you will see her again.

So very sorry to hear of this great loss for your family. Lois was a very sweet and caring person. We will be praying for you all in the days ahead.

I will treasure the memory of visits with Lois and her mom and dad especially the one at their home in Stanley when my Wisconsin trip coincided with yours.  Russ, I am deeply sympathetic for this painful loss.  Lois was truly special.

Miss Lois was the best second mom a girl could ever ask for. My deepest sympathy to Mr. Russ, Tracie, Jeff and all of her family. What an amazing woman! She touched so many lives in a truly special and irreversible way. This world is not the same without her in it.

Lois was the big sister I never had and the hole she left in my life can never be filled.  She was generous and caring and I loved her.  The past 5 years with her made many lasting memories.
