Lucy devoted her career to education, working with Assumption Parish Schools, where she touched countless lives with her patience, dedication, and kindness. She was a faithful member of St. John Catholic Church and found great joy in LSU sports and, most of all, her family.
She is survived by her children: Jason (Mary Lee), Jeff (Randa), and Josh (Kristy). She was a proud grandmother to Tori, Ian, Evan, Micah, Nathan, Tessa, Holly, Andi, and Gabe; a loving great-grandmother to Ezra, Skye, Lexi, Kenyan, Logan, Deidra, Sean and great-great grandmother to Asa, Ambrose, and Evie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Desire Alleman, Sr. and siblings, Pete Alleman, Connie Barriente, and Ray Alleman.
Lucy’s life was one of devotion — to her family, her church, and her students. Her warmth, steady presence, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
