Mariette Anne Lanoux, 85, was born on August 25, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to the late Amilcar and
Elta Hymel. She passed away peacefully on September 7, 2023 in St. Amant, LA. She loved to sew and make quilts for family and friends.
Marietta is survived by her husband, A.J. Lanoux; two sons, Jerry Joseph Billiot Jr. and Van Paul Billiot and one sister, Janice Gauthier.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at New River Baptist Church, 45270 LA-429, Saint Amant, LA, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
Marietta will be laid to rest in New River Baptist Church Cemetery, 45270 LA-429, Saint Amant, LA.
