Marilyn Fowler Dubroc

GONZALES – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Marilyn Fowler Dubroc, age 59, at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Ourso Funeral Home with Pastor J.R. Gordon officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Lane Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Ourso Funeral Home.

A resident of Prairieville, Marilyn passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence, with family by her side. Marilyn was a wonderful wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a heart of gold and a comforting soul who welcomed each and every person into her life with open arms. She will truly be missed and always remembered by her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roland Dubroc, Jr.; daughters, Helene Parra, Cassie Brassette Peart and husband Mark, Sara Brassette Giangrosso and husband John, Dale Brassette Gill and husband Adam; stepson, Paul Dubroc and wife Krista; stepdaughter, Dianne Brassette Vega and one additional stepson; sisters, Sue Caroll Streeter, Deborah Landry, Theresa Bateman, brother Dale Fowler, and Fourteen grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leona Calloway Fowler and Dale Fowler; former spouse, Ansel Brassette, Sr. and granddaughter, Kelly St. Romain.

Members of the family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
