

A resident of Port Allen, he passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. He was 39 and a native of Gonzales. He worked as a millwright for USALCO in Port Allen. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 10 a.m. until religious services at 4 p.m., conducted by Pastor Blake Melancon. Burial to follow in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville. He is survived by his daughter, Hope Marie Ramoin; son, Brandon Lee Ramoin; parents, James "Jim" and Priscilla Quebedeaux Ramoin; sister and brother in law, Dawn Ramoin Villar and Aaron; niece, Blanche Laborde; nephew, Stuart Laborde; and a paternal grandfather, Joseph Wilson Ramoin. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Ivy Quebedeaux and Lenore Gaspard Quebedeaux; paternal grandmother, Anna Ramoin; and step grandmother, Nerlina Landry Quebedeaux. Mark enjoyed cooking and he also loved fishing and shooting. Mark has in the past been involved in mission trips to Mexico with The Rock Church. While on these trips he worked to build an orphanage. Pallbearers will be Hope and Brandon Ramoin, Rene M. Quebedeaux II, Aaron Villar, Chad Darcey, Paul Treadaway, Joey Niquipora and Sid O'Brient. Honorary pallbearer is James "Yogi" Wilson III.
